It’s pretty good, picture Angels & Demons or the Da Vinci Code but substitute government for the church. Not all that hard to do.
Dan Brown has found a way to cater to A.D.D. readers. Short chapters. It makes you feel like a top notch reader, plowing thru 100+ of them.
Chalk up 2 more dork points for me, that was a blog about a book.

He tagged me which was confusing. Where I come from if you’re tagged you chase other 7th graders around and tag someone back. Apparently, this is the video game version, now I have to tell my readers 5 things they probably don’t know about me. Afte that, I tag 5 others.
So here is the first part.
1. Currently I’m listening to Lupe Fiasco, yes on Sunday morning. Despite my dorky and white outward appearance, I’m actually a hard gangsta. G - Yea.
2. Many of you know I’m working at Express. Many of you also may also know that from time to time I wear bow ties whilst working at Express. But did you know I have my own custom folding board? I wanted a gold plated one, but they came up with some metallic gold marker and gold glitter.
3. My seat height is 826 mm from the center of my bottom bracket to the top of my seat. If you think you’re getting my saddle to bar reach out of me you’ve got another thing coming.
4. The same hard gangsta that wrote number 1 is now listening to Norah Jones, not Mike Jones, Norah Jones…I’m a very complex person. Also, I like just as much if not more than Lupe.
5. I lived in Spanish Harlem for 2 nights.
OK, half done now. I just have to tag 5 people…ha. I know my vast on-line audience probably thinks I’m wicked cool and popular, but thanks to one of my few friends (Allen) now the whole world will know how few friends I actually have. Even on the world wide web. I don’t know 5 folks to tag. It looks like I’m going to have to wait this game out until the end of recess.
But I will tell you 5 things about Allen that he didn’t tell you.
1. He drinks out of vases, totally sober.
2. He likes brown sugar in his oatmeal.
3. He walks around his house with a messenger bag. Why, I’m still not sure.
4. Just this summer he got his first cycling cap, and he loves it.
5. His insoles squeak every time he steps, which I blame on the fact of his shoes “dialing” in the back instead of tying in the front.
On a side note, the Express Christmahanakwanzika party is on Sunday night. There will also be an ugly sweater contest, so yea I’ll probably win that.

For the first time in 24 years on the planet, today marks the first time I have killed a full chap stick. Start to finish.
I didn’t lose it, I didn’t use it as a dryer sheet, I didn’t leave it in the sun only to leave a soupy mess. Gold star for me. It only makes sense that it is the most expensive tube of ChapStick that I’ve ever puckered up to, but I can honestly say 18 months later, I will miss you. A replacement would make a great half birthday gift! Coincidence? Probably so.
On an unrelated note, if you ever find yourself working retail and the manager asks if you want to do a “floorset” never ever, ever, ever say yes. The last time I did it, I got an overnight parking “written warning” from the mall security. Rumor is they don’t start passing those out until like 2:30 in the morning, I’ll probably frame mine.

I would have to say that fall is probably my favorite season, for many reasons. Most importantly…pumpkins. Not for carving, for eating. Clif bars, Gelatto, Scones, and the most recent find…coffee. Coffee…good, pumpkins…good.
I was grocery shopping yesterday and made my rounds thru the coffee isle. Millstone has a pumpkin flavored bean, usually I’m the first one to talk down on “flavored” coffee beans. But those of you who know me know I can’t resist the big P word. I brewed some up this morning, and lets put it this way…I never update my blog, but this one cup of coffee got it’s own post. Cafe de Wenzel will proudly be serving Pumpkin Coffee until it runs out…so you better get soon!

Sometimes your flush and sometimes your bust. And when you’re up it’s never as good as it seems and when you’re down you never think you’re going to be up again. But life goes on.
Especially in game #1.

I still haven’t turned my heat on, for some reason unknown to me I feel like it’s a game versus mother nature. She edged her way closer to victory as I woke up to a igloo-esque 58 degrees this morning. Also, new songs.
